The new start date for the A-course in Oslo is not yet known.

Introduction

Best Value Approach has been introduced in Norway in 2016 and it started with 7 pilot projects via Difi. Van Hes Projectmanagement has been involved in the Best Value efforts in Norway since 2015 when we where asked to do several presentations on the Best Value approach. Jan has done one for EBA in July 2016 at the same meeting where Nye Veier talked about the first Best Value road project they were publishing spring 2016. We have decided that we are going to support Norway in the Best Value efforts because we know the  Best Value approach is a way to improve performance. We do this by:

  • Consulting vendors at Best Value projects from the selection phase until the final day of delivery. Jan has consulted Hæhre entreprenør at the first Best Value project in Norway.
  • Consulting clients at Best Value projects from preparing the konkurransegrunnlag until the last delivery.
  • Train Norwegians in the Best Value approach, we have observed that it is needed to have Best Value training in Oslo as well as in Trondheim.
  • Partnering with NTNU in the Best Value research they are performing.
